Telcar® TL-97-T0214B-55 by Teknor Apex is a translucent, general purpose, thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It exhibits good mechanical properties, surface haptics and feel like rubber. It has a long life in exterior, high UV and ozone weathering applications. It offers excellent thermal performance in harsh environments (including acids, bases and chlorine), excellent resiliency and ductility. It possesses elastomeric properties of vulcanized rubber and yet can be melt-processed and easily fabricated. It provides good processability, faster output, lower cost and recyclability. It can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. Telcar® TL-97-T0214B-55 is used in automotive interior parts & exterior parts like trim, weather-stripping, grommets and blow molding applications.
