PELPRENE™ P280B

PELPRENE™ P280B by Toyobo is a general purpose, thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPEE) copolymer composed of polybutylene terephthalate as hard segments and aliphatic polyether as soft segments. It exhibits excellent reliability, processability, flex fatigue strength, easy finishing touch, resistance to low temperature-, chemical-, water-, oil-, heat- and abrasion. This grade is processed by extrusion and injection molding. It is used in floats, gears, joint bushes, seat belt components, emblem, sky shoes, door latch striker, rebound stopper, dust seals, backup rings, hot curlers, corrugated tubes, telephone handset curl chords, CVJ-, suspension- and uniformly coupling boots. PELPRENE™ P280B is also used in wristwatch bands, bottle plugs (caps), diaphragms, combs, cable covers- and slide plates in torque-converting for automobiles, gas pipe linings, resin modifiers, conveyor belts, oil hydraulic-, fire- and air pressure hoses.
