PELPRENE™ S6001

PELPRENE™ S6001 by Toyobo is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPEE) copolymer. It is composed of polybutylene terephthalate as hard segments and aliphatic polyester as soft segments. It exhibits excellent reliability, flex fatigue strength, easy finishing touch, high hardness, resistance to weather-, water-, oil-, heat aging- and abrasion. This grade is processed by extrusion and injection molding. PELPRENE™ S6001 is used in floats, joint bushes, seat belt components, emblem, sky shoes, door latch striker, rebound stopper, dust seals, backup rings, corrugated tubes, telephone handset curl chords, suspension- and uniformly coupling boots. Typical applications include wristwatch bands, bottle plugs (caps), diaphragms, combs, cable covers- and slide plates in torque-converting for automobiles, gas pipe linings, resin modifiers, ball joint, conveyor belts, oil hydraulic-, fire- and air pressure hoses.
