Zeotherm® 151-40D

Zeotherm® 151-40D by Zeon Chemical is a black colored, water insoluble, recyclable, high-performance thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It is based on polyacrylate elastomer dynamically vulcanized in a matrix of polyamide (nylon) plastic. Exhibits excellent heat resistance (sustained at 150°C & spikes to 175°C) and low temperature performance (-40°C). It offers excellent resistance to many mineral, synthetic motor oils, transmission fluids and greases. It is bondable to polyamides via overmolding (insert and 2-shot) or hot-plate welding. It is processed by blow molding, conventional extrusion, co-extrusion and 3D sequential. Zeotherm® 151-40D is recommended for automotive air ducts and boots/ bellows.
