3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FC 2176Z by 3M-Dyneon is a bisphenol cured, medium viscosity fluoroelastomer. It contains 65.9% fluorine and utilizes proprietary incorporated cure technology. It is a di-polymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene. Suitable for curing at lower temperature (e.g. autoclave). Exhibits fast cure cycles and excellent processing safety. It is soluble in ketones & esters. Can be processed by compression molding, transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Designed for molded goods. Possible applications could be aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, oil & gas, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical and food processing. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FC 2176Z complies with ISO 9001 regulation. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
