BMC 5209 by LyondellBasell is a flame retardant, polyester grade reinforced with mineral and glass fiber. Exhibits good electrical properties and high impact resistance. BMC 5209 is designed for processing by extrusion, compression, transfer and stuffer injection molding. Typical applications include circuit breaker housings, standoff insulators, bus supports, tool housings, electric and electonics. Complies with UL-94 (V0) and UL-94 (5V) flame ratings.
