Quantum AMC® 8590 HT

Quantum AMC® 8590 HT by LyondellBasell is a vinyl ester hybrid composite sheet molding compound reinforced with 12K PAN carbon fiber. It provides fatigue resistance, high stiffness and high strength. It can be molded at temperatures in the range of 260-310°F, with 280°F suggested as a starting point. The cure time depends on molding temperature and part thickness. Quantum AMC® 8590 HT has a shelf life of 2 months.
