Quantum Forged Preg™ 8575

Quantum Forged Preg™ 8575 by LyondellBasell is a vinyl ester hybrid composite reinforced with 51% w/w 3K PAN triaxial continuous mat carbon fiber. Its cure time depends on molding temperature and part thickness. This grade offers fatigue resistance, high stiffness and high strength. It is processed by sheet molding. It can be molded at temperatures in the range of 260-310°F, with 280°F suggested as a starting point. Quantum Forged Preg™ 8575 has a shelf life of 2 months.
