Quantum Lytex® 4149

Quantum Lytex® 4149 by LyondellBasell is an epoxy composite reinforced with 55% w/w 3K PAN carbon fiber. It exhibits fatigue resistance, high stiffness and high strength. This grade is processed by sheet molding. It can be molded at temperatures in the range of 260-340°F, with 325°F suggested as a starting point. Its cure time depends on molding temperature and part thickness. Quantum Lytex® 4149 has a shelf life of 6 months.
