QM270 by CHT is a pourable 2-part addition cure silicone rubber containing a platinum catalyst. The rate of cure can be accelerated by heat. Exhibits high tear, low shrinkage, excellent chemical resistance, excellent physical and electrical properties. Suitable for processing by gravity or pressure injection molding. QM270 can be designed for molding masters, plasters, large objects, chocolate and icing sugar. Possible applications include rapid prototyping, case making in the ceramics industry, manufacture of cornice and tampo print pads.
