EPOTEC® YD 019 by Aditya Birla Chemicals is a high molecular weight bisphenol-A based solid epoxy resin. Offers high softening point, high hydroxyl content and good hardness. Exhibits optimum flexibility and food chemical resistance. It makes single pack, baking type epoxy-amino, epoxy-phenolic coatings that are used in packaging industry. It is used to prepare ambient, poly-isocyanate curable, 2K system. EPOTEC® YD 019 is recommended for can- & coil coatings, linings for tubes & drums and high performance primers. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.300.
