EPOTEC® YDH 184 by Aditya Birla Chemicals is a diglycidyl ester of hexahydrophthalic anhydride. Offers good resistance to ultra-violet light and weathering. Provides high glass transition temperature, better non-yellowing characteristics and chalking resistance. It can be formulated into low VOC or even solvent-free outdoor coatings. It can be cured with anhydride curing agents at high temperatures. EPOTEC® YDH 184 is recommended for potting/insulating compounds, electrical applications, high solid coatings including baking finishes and coatings for outdoor application on metal, wood and concrete surface.
