ATLAC® 580

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by AOC
ATLAC® 580 by AOC is an urethane-based, bisphenol-A vinyl ester resin. It can be cured using the cure system including 0.5% NL63-10P, 0.5% NL51P and 1.5% Butanox M-50. Possesses good flexibility, low exotherm & very good handling and curing properties. Exhibits easy processability & exceptional chemical-, heat-, acidic salt-, hot water- and alkali resistance. Shows good compatibility with aramid fiber reinforcements. Offers excellent wet out & deaerating properties and outstanding performance. It produces less foam when peroxides are added with less air inhibition resulting in a tack free cured surface. Can be processed by injection molding, filament winding, centrifugal casting, hand lay up and spray-up. ATLAC® 580 is recommended for fabrication, industrial, building and infrastructure applications. It is suitable for use in tanks, pipes and marine. Conforms to LLOYDS approval.
