PALATAL® P 61-01

PALATAL® P 61-01 by AOC is an unreinforced, unsaturated polyester resin based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with 1ml MEKP-HA 2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.4ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene) added to 100g resin. Exhibits high reactivity and medium viscosity. Suitable for processing by spray-up, hand lay-up and filament winding. Used in the production of glass fiber reinforced moldings that have a low cracking susceptibility and high resistance to heat deformation. PALATAL® P 61-01 is recommended for pipes, press moldings, tanks and industrial applications. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140 and DIN 18820/1 group 1.
