SYNOLITE™ 2103-Q-1

SYNOLITE™ 2103-Q-1 by AOC is an unsaturated polyester resin based on orthophthalic acid and neopentylglycol, dissolved in styrene. It is a highly reactive grade with medium viscosity. It can be cured with both, conventional curing agents and low energy UV light (365-420 nm). Provides excellent mechanical properties, outstanding chemical resistance and good electrical properties. It can be easily thickened by the addition of magnesium oxide. It is suitable for processing by relining. Can be used for the repair of sewage systems. SYNOLITE™ 2103-Q-1 is designed for the production of glass-fiber reinforced prepregs, tanks, vessel and hydraulic engineering applications. Also, recommended for buildings & infrastructure, pipes, boats, corrosion protection and electrical industry. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140. It is classified in group 3 according to DIN 18820/1 & in parts 1 and 2 group 4, according to EN 13121.
