Viton™ GF-200S

Viton™ GF-200S by Chemours is a low viscosity, peroxide cured 70% fluorine gum fluoroelastomer. It is based on advanced polymer architecture (APA) which includes a novel peroxide cure site and optimized molecular weight distribution. It is a copolymer of hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride and tetrafluoroethylene with a cure site monomer. It possesses excellent physical properties and high elongation. This grade exhibits excellent storage stability, improved mold release & mold fouling properties, improved mold flow and less shear sensitivity. It shows excellent compression set resistance with either low or no post-cure. Viton™ GF-200S offers excellent fluid resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons & alcohols including methanol, oil, steam and acid. It provides good heat and low temperature properties and improved water resistance/lower volume swell in water. It is ideal for blending with Viton™ GF-600S to reach intermediate viscosity ranges for injection molding.
