CYCOM® 5276-1

CYCOM® 5276-1 by Syensqo is a toughened, self-adhesive epoxy resin. It can be cured at 177°C for 2 hours. Possesses open mold life greater than 40 days. Exhibits excellent chemical resistance, optimized resin/ fiber interface and no change in mechanical performance. Retains shear strength and modulus after storage in different fluids up to 90 days. Offers excellent tack & drape, excellent flow control and high damage tolerance. Designed for improved handling during layup and assembly. It can co-cure with honeycomb core providing void-free sandwich panels. Recommended for primary aircraft structures where critical load-bearing components are required. It can be applied to other product types such as nicalon and tyranno silicon carbide fibers. CYCOM® 5276-1 has a shelf life of >6 months at -18°C and >3 months at 4°C.
