CYCOM® PR 520 RTM

CYCOM® PR 520 RTM by Syensqo is a low viscosity epoxy resin in a one-part form. After two hours at 180°C, it can be completely cured. It has a 30 day out-life at room temperature, strong resin toughness, and minimal moisture absorption (0.6 percent). It has excellent strain resistance, low exotherm, and exceptional damage tolerance. It works flawlessly with the CYCOM® 7720 RTM binder system and the low area weight film PR 520-1 for reinforcement operations. It can be processed by injection molding with a minimum viscosity of 30 cP and an initial injection viscosity of 500 cP. Engine blades, engine blade spacers/platforms, containment boxes, outer guide vanes, and hinge/bracket/fitting applications are all good candidates for CYCOM® PR 520 RTM. At -18°C, CYCOM® PR 520 RTM has a two-year shelf life.
