NexTene™ PCX02

NexTene™ PCX02 is a medium cure, high viscosity, two-component (50/1 ratio) polydicyclopentadiene (poly-DCPD), thermoset system by Demeta. Possesses exceptional mechanical properties, adjustable viscosity enabling short infusion times as well as low density to reduce part and function weight. Suitable for composites processed by pultrusion or filament winding. Potential applications include hydrogen or carbon dioxide storage, concrete rebars, wind turbines, ballistic protection, 5G communication, composite risers and automotive parts. The PCX family exhibits attractive electric & dielectric properties and adjustable gel-time i.e. from a few minutes to several hours. NexTene™ PCX02 offers industry-leading impact and fatigue resistance, extreme cold/ heat service temperatures, excellent behavior in hot and wet environments.
