Liveo™ Class VI Elastomers C6-135 Parts A & B

DOW CORNING® C6-135 is a heat cured, platinum-catalyzed (1:1 by weight) class VI rubber silicone elastomer. It is a non-blooming, pigmentable, cost-effective grade available as a two-part kit. Consists of cross-linked dimethyl & methyl-vinyl siloxane copolymers and reinforcing silica. It can be post cured. It does not contain peroxides & by-products, chlorophenyls or PCBs, organic plasticizers, phthalates or latex additives. Exhibits non-tacky surface and high batch-to-batch consistency. Suitable for processing by extrusion. DOW CORNING® C6-135 is recommended for medical device and component fabrication including those implanted in humans for 29 days. Meets US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia) Class V, USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia) Class VI and ISO 10993-1 for surface devices. Conforms to EP (European Pharmacopoeia) Monograph 3.1.9 closures and tubing tested for volatile matter and substances soluble in hexane & USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia) tested for cytotoxicity and skin sensitization.
