DOW CORNING® C6-265

DOW CORNING® C6-265 is a non-tacky, pigmentable, one-part uncatalyzed, class VI silicone elastomer. It is a flexible curative, blendable, cost-effective rubber with high batch-to-batch consistency. It does not contain phthalates or other organic plasticizer additives. Can be processed by extrusion and compounding. DOW CORNING® C6-265 is recommended for part fabrication and medical devices, including those implanted in humans for up to 29 days. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, USP Class VI, USP Class V and ISO 10993-1 for surface devices cytotoxicity, sensitization and irritation/ intracutaneous reactivity. Also meets with European Pharmacopoeia Monograph 3.1.9 for closures and tubing: substances soluble in hexane and volatile matter.
