SILASTIC™ LTC 9400

SILASTIC™ LTC 9400 by Dow is a liquid silicone rubber (LSR). It is a low-temperature-cure (LTC) solution that enables short cure times at low temperatures and exhibits processing benefits such as improved rheology for fast low-pressure injection. The low-temperature cure capability of SILASTIC™ LTC 9400 enables over-molding of low-melting-point thermoplastics, actives and electrical components. It also helps increase robustness by reducing sensitivity to temperature gradients. It enables enhanced design freedom and process efficiency for automotive components and consumer goods. It is suitable for high-volume injection molding applications. This grade meets requirements of BfR XV recommendation and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600.
