DOW CORNING® C6-750

DOW CORNING® C6-750 is a heat cured, platinum-catalyzed (1:1 by weight), non-blooming, class VI elastomer liquid silicone rubber. It is a solvent-free, pigmentable, cost-effective grade available as a two-part kit. Consists of cross-linked dimethyl & methyl-vinyl siloxane copolymers and reinforcing silica. It can be post cured. It does not contain peroxides & by-products, chlorophenyls or PCBs, organic plasticizers, phthalates or latex additives. Exhibits less tendency for mold-fouling and good batch-to-batch consistency. Can be processed by liquid injection molding and extrusion. DOW CORNING® C6-750 is recommended for medical devices and component fabrication including those implanted in humans for less than 30 days and non-implant applications. Complies with US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia) Class VI, EP (European Pharmacopoeia), BSI (British Standards Institute) and ISO 10993-1. Meets criteria for cytotoxicity, sensitization, irritation/ intracutaneous reactivity, acute systemic and sub-chronic toxicity.
