BLUESIL™ RTV 148 A by Elkem Silicones is a two component, polyaddition reaction, room temperature curing silicone elastomer. It is used in producing thermal protection, flexible & molded insulators and molded joints. It is also suitable for encapsulation protection of electrotechnical systems. The curing can be accelerated by heating without any bubble formation. It offers good reversion resistance and good heat stability in confined environments. The shelf life of BLUESIL™ RTV 148 A is 18 months.
