BLUESIL™ RTV 1556 A/B by Elkem Silicones is a two component, silicone rubber compound. It is a high strength, addition cure, room temperature or heat vulcanized product. It offers low viscosity, high tear cut resistance and easy release for long lasting molds. This grade displays high temperature and chemical resistance with excellent flexibility, low shrinkage, and excellent detail reproduction. It is designed for mold making and resin infusion reusable vacuum bag applications. It is well suited for conventional production and prototyping use with all types of casting resins. BLUESIL™ RTV 1556 A/B is also used in giftware, furniture & artistic molding, finished rubber parts, stereolithography (SLA) molds, picture frames, mirrors & furniture molding, epoxy laminate molding and electronic encapsulation. The shelf life of this product is 18 months.
