SILBIONE™ LSR 4340 A/B

SILBIONE™ LSR 4340 A/B by Elkem Silicones is two component platinum-catalyzed silicone rubber grade. It is designed for liquid injection molding applications. It exhibits rebound resilience characteristics, non-tacky, superior clarity, high tear, elongation and excellent mold release for shorter cycle times. It provides soft, skin like feel when molded. It is easily pigmented and can be molded into thin-walled parts. It offers easy processing and easy release combined with high performance physical properties. It can be post cured and rapidly cured at elevated temperature. It is used in fabrication of healthcare & medical devices including less than 30 day implantation, skin contact parts like liners, balloons, orthopedic insoles & cushioning applications, prosthetic liners and rollers. SILBIONE™ LSR 4340 A/B meets the requirement of United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) Class VI.
