SILBIONE™ RTV 4545 A/B by Elkem Silicones is a biocompatible, two component, silicone elastomer that crosslinks at room temperature by polyaddition reaction. The polymerization can be accelerated by heat. It offers very good mechanical properties, sterilizability, low viscosity and easy processing properties. It is used in shoe inlays, liners for limb prostheses, prosthetic bandages and orthopaedic applications. The shelf life of SILBIONE™ RTV 4545 A/B is 6 months.
