Bakelite® BKS-2640

Bakelite® BKS-2640 by Bakelite Synthetics is a phenolic formaldehyde resin solution in n-butanol. It can be formulated with minimal blending.

It is generally used with nitrile rubber (high acrylonitrile) for adhesives.
It is also used in plastisol primers and adhesion promoters for solution vinyl resins.
Bakelite® BKS-2640 is recommended for coatings rigid metallic substrates and protective coatings such as drum & pail and metal protection applications.
It complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and 177.1210.
