Astro Mel™ NW-3A by Hexion is a waterborne, partially methylated melamine formaldehyde (MF) grade. It offers firm & resilient finishes, high abrasion resistance and good solvent resistance. This grade displays good stain resistance, good mar resistance and block resistance. It can be used to crosslink hydroxy-functional polymers in formulations. Astro Mel™ NW-3A is recommended for nonwovens and textile finishing applications.
