EPON™ Resin 1001-K-65

EPON™ Resin 1001-K-65 by Westlake Epoxy is a VOC-free, non-HAPs, low viscosity, 65% solids solution of EPON™ Resin 1001F-type epoxy resin derived from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin. It is diluted in tertiary-butyl acetate solvent (TBAC) as an intermediate evaporating solvent. This grade exhibits low color, and chemical- & corrosion resistance. It shows easy handling that is readily thinned or reduced with organic solvents like propylene glycol methyl ether, aromatic 100 and methyl n-amyl ketone. EPON™ Resin 1001-K-65 can be used with curing agents like aliphatic amines, amine adducts and polyamidoamines.
