EPON™ Resin 8521-MX-60

EPON™ Resin 8521-MX-60 by Westlake Epoxy is a 60% solids solution of an EPON™ Resin 1004F type epoxy resin diluted in 50% xylene and 50% 2-butoxyethanol. It does not require additives for prevention of crawling and cratering. It is modified to improve surface tension properties. Films manufactured by EPON™ Resin 8521-MX-60 exhibit flexibility, adhesion, and chemical- & corrosion resistance. It can be used with curing agents like aliphatic amines, amine adducts, tertiary amines and polyamides to obtain complete film curing at normal room temperatures. The shelf life of this product is 3 years.
