Quantum AMC® 8590-12CFH

Quantum AMC® 8590-12CFH by LyondellBasell is a vinyl ester hybrid composite sheet molding compound. It is reinforced with 12K PAN carbon fiber and E-glass fiber. It can be molded at temperatures in the range of 260-310°F, with 280°F suggested as a starting point. The cure time depends on molding temperature and part thickness. It possesses fatigue resistance, high stiffness and high strength. Quantum AMC® 8590-12CFH has a shelf life of 2 months.
