MF-862 by MACRO POLYMERS is a good gloss, butylated/ methylated melamine formaldehyde resin. Exhibits high reactivity and very good color retention in baking. Imparts excellent impact resistance. It is soluble in xylene, n-butyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, n-butanol, methanol and n-hexane (Min 1:0.5). MF-862 is compatible with short oil in xylene/ toluene. Recommended for baking finishes for motor cars and kitchen appliances, strip & roller coating enamels, baking coating on plastics for curing at lower temperature and high solid coating applications.
