Menzolit® SMC 1400

Menzolit® SMC 1400 by Menzolit is an unsaturated polyester resin reinforced with glass fiber and mineral filler. Exhibits high strength, good fuel resistance, good lubrication resistance, good brake fluid resistance and good resistance to cleaning agents. It is halogen-free, heavy metal free, does not melt, does not form droplets and smoke generation is low. It is suitable for processing by sheet molding and compression molding. Menzolit® SMC 1400 is suitable for automotive engine applications such as oil pan or valve cover.
