jER™ 1003 by Mitsubishi Chemical is a solvent-based, bisphenol A solid epoxy high performance resin. Exhibits small curing shrinkage, excellent dimensional stability and high mechanical strength. It is formed by the condensation polymerization of bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. Offers excellent heat-, wear-, chemical-, moisture- and abrasion resistance. Possible applications of jER™ 1003 include paints & coatings, electrical insulation materials, composite material, civil engineering & construction materials, adhesives and tools.
