Addisil™ Industrial 2040 E

Addisil™ Industrial 2040 E by Momentive Performance Materials is a one-component, heat cured silicone (HCR) rubber based on platinum cure system. It is a ready-to-use resin available as a mixing ratio of 1:1. Exhibits low compression set and high clarity. Provides enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. It is easy to process & provides rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. It can be cured at 315°C to 648°C for 3 to 12 seconds using DCBP-50 as curing agent. Suitable for processing by extrusion. Addisil™ Industrial 2040 E is designed for use in industrial applications. Complies with BfR XV, FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for indirect food contact and WRAS BS 6920 (cold and hot water) regulations.
