LIM 6050

LIM 6050 by Momentive Performance Materials is a two-component liquid silicone rubber. Exhibits excellent tear strength, high tensile strength and high clarity for excellent visibility. Offers excellent release from metal molds and rapid cure time depending upon part size, configuration & molding temperature. LIM 6050 is easily pigmentable with Momentive masterbatch colors. Designed for processing by liquid injection molding with wide range of molding temperature from 150 - 205°C. Used in mechanical parts like connector inserts, seals, flexible mounts and valve parts. Potential applications includes coating metal rolls, camera parts, health care equipment, sports goggles and masks. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO 10993, UL 94 (HB) (File No. E205753), BfR recommendation XV “Silicones” and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 regulations.
