Silopren™ Electro 1700 by Momentive Performance Materials is a heat curable, one-component, silicone rubber based on a platinum cure system. Offers fast vulcanization, fast hydrophobicity transfer, hydrophobicity recovery and excellent dielectric behaviour over a wide range of temperature. Exhibits outstanding resistance to aging, weather and tracking. Silopren™ Electro 1700 is developed for the manufacture of housing and weather sheds for all kinds of insulators.
