Silopren™ Electro 642

Silopren™ Electro 642 by Momentive Performance Materials is a hydrophobic, platinum cured liquid silicone rubber (LSR). It has a lower impact on the environment. It is a crosslinking, two-component resin available as 1:1 ratio by weight. Provides excellent heat resistance, low to no flash, short vulcanization time and ease of de-molding. Imparts high tracking-, weathering-, ozone-, UV- and arc resistance. Offers high clarity, good electrical conductivity & deep and thin-section cure capability. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Silopren™ Electro 642 is designed for use in high voltage industry for cable accessories and cold shrink applications.
