Silopren™ LSR 2742 by Momentive Performance Materials is a two-component liquid silicone rubber. It is not readily combustible and it does not melt or drip. It is easily pigmented with LSR color pastes. Offers primerless adhesion to many substrates, high thermal stability, excellent stability and flexibility at low temperature. Exhibits outstanding aging resistance, excellent dielectric behaviour over a wide range of temperature, high stability to ozone and UV light. Shows good rubber-like properties and long service life at dynamic stress. Designed for processing by multi-component injection molding and overmolding. Silopren™ LSR 2742 is used in sealing elements, membranes, shower heads and gaskets. Complies with KTW, BfR recommendation XV "Silicones", FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 regulations.
