TSE 221-4U by Momentive Performance Materials is a peroxide catalysed, general purpose, heat cured silicone rubber (HCR). It is a one-component, ready-to-use resin with high clarity. Exhibits enhanced mechanical performance, low compression set, low hysteresis and high resilience. It is easy to process & offers rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications could be automotive, aviation & aerospace, consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. TSE 221-4U meets with UL94HB rating.
