TSE 221-6U by Momentive Performance Materials is a heat cured, peroxide catalyst based silicone rubber (HCR). It is a one-component, general purpose, ready-to-use resin. Exhibits low compression set and high clarity. Offers good processability, rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Shows enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications are automotive, aviation & aerospace, consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. TSE 221-6U complies with UL94HB rating.
