TSE 221-7U by Momentive Performance Materials is a peroxide catalyst based, general purpose, heat cured silicone rubber (HCR). Exhibits low compression set and good processability. It is a one-component, ready-to-use resin having high clarity. Offers rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Shows enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Could be used in automotive, aviation & aerospace, consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare. TSE 221-7U complies with UL94HB rating.
