XE23-B2484 by Momentive Performance Materials is a peroxide catalyst based, heat cured silicone rubber (HCR). Exhibits enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience. It is a general purpose, ready-to-use, one-component resin. Offers low compression set and high clarity. Provides good processability, rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication. Can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Possible applications of XE23-B2484 could be automotive, aviation & aerospace, consumer goods, electrical/ electronics, energy and healthcare.
