CR-5 by Novista Group is a chlorinated rubber (CR) grade. Offers good weather stability, good water resistance and good chemical resistance. It improves the initial adhesion and water repellency of the system. It is UV stabilized and heat stabilized under 13. It has good compatibility with many solvents, plasticizers and binders. CR-5 can be used to formulate fast-drying anticorrosion coating applications. It is also used as a combination binder such as alkyd resins, acrylates and ketone resins.
