OM 1061 by Ortofon is a bromo isobutylene isoprene (90%) and chloroprene (10%) rubber (BIIR/CR) grade. Exhibits high impermeability to gases & liquids and excellent aging stability. Offers good heat resistance, resistance to biological factors (fungi and soil bacteria), low gas permeability and good electrical properties. Also offers optimum wear resistance, good weather resistance, good ozone resistance and optimum resistance to hydrolysis (water & steam). OM 1061 by Ortofon is recommended for dampers, tubes, membranes, antivibration mounting and medical applications.
