OM 1097 by Ortofon is a chloroprene rubber (CR) grade. Offers good aging resistance, good heat resistance, resistance to biological factors (fungi and soil bacteria), low gas permeability and good electrical properties. Also offers good wear resistance, good weather resistance, good ozone resistance, optimum resistance to hydrolysis (water & steam), optimum resistance to chemicals (acid & bases) and optimum resistance to mineral oil & gas. OM 1097 by Ortofon is recommended for membranes, dampers, hearing aids, bellows, dust caps and general purpose seal applications.
