OM 1121 by Ortofon is a bromo isobutylene isoprene (60%) and ethylene propylene diene rubber (40%) (BIIR/EPDM) grade. Exhibits high impermeability to gases & liquids, excellent aging stability and good damping properties. Offers good heat resistance, good UV resistance, stability in low & high temperature and good electrical insulation. Also offers good wear resistance, good weather resistance, good ozone resistance, optimum resistance to hydrolysis (water & steam), optimum resistance to chemicals (acid & bases) and optimum resistance to mineral oil & gas. OM 1121 by Ortofon is recommended for dampers, tubes, membranes, antivibration mounting and medical applications.
