OM 1132 by Ortofon is a bromo isobutylene isoprene rubber (BIIR) grade. Offers high impermeability to gases & liquids, excellent aging stability, very good heat resistance and good damping properties. Also offers optimum wear resistance, weather resistance, ozone resistance, optimum resistance to hydrolysis (water & steam) and optimum resistance to chemicals (acid & bases). OM 1132 by Ortofon is recommended for dampers, tubes, membranes, antivibration mounting and medical applications.
