OM 1148 by Ortofon is a silicone rubber grade. Offers good heat resistance, good cold resistance, good moisture resistance, good chemical resistance, electrical insulation and thermal conductivity. Also offers optimum wear resistance, good weather resistance, good ozone resistance, optimum resistance to hydrolysis (water & steam) and optimum resistance to acid & bases. OM 1148 by Ortofon is recommended for o-rings, sealings, insulators, automotive industry and medical applications.
